New Office Staff

Happy New Year everyone!  Don't you just love new beginnings?  So far 2013 has been good to me and my family.  Mom has me on a little bit of a diet, and I'm starting to drop some extra lb's I picked up over the holidays.  I want to look good for my new girlfriend, Alburta.  :)

You may have noticed some changes at the Buckhead Pet Pals office as well!  We had to say goodbye to our amazing manager Tiffany a few weeks back, but we've got some new sweet ladies to help out, and for me to love on.

Please welcome Sarah Bradley and Jamie Morris to the team!  If you call the office during business hours, you'll likely speak with Sarah and if you need some guidance after hours, you'll probably get a quick reply from Jamie!  Both of the new team members are ready to help you with all your pet care needs!  You may have also noticed some funny (and informational) new posts on Facebook, as we want to increase our online interactions with you.  If you haven't "liked" us on Facebook yet, go ahead and do so!

I hope you all are enjoying your new year, are sticking to your goals, and are loving and playing with your sweet pets!  Remember to call Buckhead Pet Pals for all your animal care needs ... from dog walking, to overnight care, to pet taxis, whatever you need my mom and her awesome team of sitters are here for you!

Peace out,
Rocky

Waiting ... Waiting

Hey Everyone!
Hope you all had a fantastic summer!  I know I did.  I got to have some good boys time with my Dad and some great Spa time with my pet sitters while Mom, Mac and Liv were having fun down at the beach.  Man I miss them when they are gone ... I'm so happy everyone is back!

And now that school is back in session I've had a couple of chances to join Mom at the office!  I'm such a good helper at the office.  When someone is upset, I rest my head in their lap and they instantly feel better.  Its good for everyone.

Here's a pic of me and my boys ... waiting!  A few years ago when I was sick as a little puppy, but still full of energy, I got a little crazy with our old couch.  Let's just say Rocky 1 - Couch 0.  I love lounging on couches, which is why Mom and Dad waited for a while before my puppy stage had passed to get a new replacement.  Well this past weekend was the weekend!  I could barely contain my excitement for a new couch to snuggle with everyone!

The new couch was supposed to be delivered last Friday night by 7:30pm.  Just in time for movie night!  Well, this was us at 10pm ... still waiting for our delivery.  It finally arrived at 10:30 that night.  And let me tell you Mom and Dad and Mac were thrilled - I was bummed.

Can you imagine, a big, comfy beautiful new couch ready for me and Pickles to snuggle on ALL day ... only for YOU, the DOG to NOT be able to get on it!!!!!????????  torture.

So why not?  Well, its new, its soft, its comfy .... its white.  Now why would they go and buy a white couch, weren't they thinking of their sweet dog at all?

It's ok they seem really happy and to REALLY enjoy the new addition.  And while I can't get on the couch, I can still join the group in the den on the awesome new gigantic dog bed they picked up for me.  Its green and brown and really soft.  It spans the entire room, really pulls the room together.  See in the picture?  We are all lounging together on my bed.  Everyone keeps calling it a "Rug" or something like that ... but I know the truth.  Love my dog bed.  :)

Peace Out

I'm a lucky boy

Hey Everybody -

I'm a lucky dog you know.  During the school year and I'm at home during the day without any human company, I have my best buddy Mr. Pickles to hang out and play with.  And we really do play together.  My girls think its really funny to watch us playing, I just know its a ton of fun.  And in the summer time my brother and sister are home to hang with me, which makes me that happiest.

And on the occasion, I tell mom in the morning that I'm coming to the office with her.  That's where I get to see Catherine, Tiffany and play with Mr. Bill and my huge dog bone.  I mean, it really doesn't get any better than that.

Here's a pic of me and Mr. Pickles together.  Somedays when I come back from my midday walk with Laurie, Mr. P is hanging out on my bed waiting for me.  He might pretend like he doesn't enjoy me licking his head, but I know he loves it.

Hope all of you have as many great adventures during your days as I do!  And if you need a midday walk during the day like me, tell your humans to call Buckhead Pet Pals - they can help!

Peace out -
Rocky

Customer Service and Referral Program!

Hey Everybody - it's your old buddy Rocky.  I know it has been a while, but my "type-er" has been busy (that whole opposable thumbs thing)!  I'm just here to let you all know about Buckhead Pet Pal's referral program and to talk a little bit about customer service.  My mom's business, Buckhead Pet Pals, strives to provide exceptional customer service and prides itself on operating the business under this mantra.

We love to know and hear that if you do receive excellent customer service that you will tell others about your positive experience!  Positive word of mouth exposure is every business person's dream for their company, and this must stem from exceptional customer service and customer experience.

If you have a great experience, you are likely to share it with your friends and family.  At Buckhead Pet Pals, we have a special referral program for this highest compliment.  For each new client that books service from your referral, we will send you a special gift.  For no reason other than to thank you for talking to others about our service.  We do this not only for our clients, but our pet sitters, and other industry professionals that help spread the word about a long standing pet sitting business.

We believe that a positive approach to business and life is a successful approach ...  What you put out there you get in return!  Remember the secret!?  :)

Now check me out with my new bone!  I got it for being a good boy when I come to work at the office!  Apparently the girls (especially Catherine) love it when I insist on coming in with mom in the mornings.  Yes that is right, I insist on coming in and my mom obliges.

Ciao for now humans,
Rocky

Can't we all just get along?

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Holiday and stuffed themselves! I traveled to NC and was the center of attention at the holiday family gathering. Everyone loved me and said what a great dog I was ... Heck Yeah! :)

I was exhausted after all the travel, and when I got home I was ready to just hang with my buddy Pickles. Here we are on a lazy, dreary Sunday morning. awwwwwww now why can't we all just get along like this... side by side and squishy faced!?

I hope you all are geared up for the holiday season. Please be safe if you are traveling, and enjoy your friends and family! I know I will!!

AND Don't forget to book your holiday pet care needs with Buckhead Pet Pals - the sooner you book the better! :)

Ciao for now!

Take a Hike! :)

I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween weekend! Can you believe December is almost here? I love this time of year - the leaves are falling, the temperature is dropping ... I get a new kind of energy now that I can breath better! It's the best.

One of my most favorite things to do in the fall is to go hiking and run around outside. I had so much fun in September when the whole family went up to the North Georgia mountains to celebrate mom's birthday. We stayed in a cabin, and I had a ton of fun frolicking in the woods with Mac and Liv. This year, the leaves have been especially gorgeous with the red, orange and yellow colors! The picture is from a few weeks ago, when my Catherine went up into the mountains with a couple of my buddies, Luigi and Shadow. I was disappointed I couldn't go, but I know that they had fun! I'm pretty sure there was no more room in the car for me anyway with the big Great Dane! :)

Did you know that your dog can also go for a fun hike this year? Or even a run? Buckhead Pet Pals can offer you more than just in home pet sitting!

Contact Buckhead Pet Pals and book a Hike in the Mountains where a pet sitter will pick up your dog and they will go for a minimum 2 hour hike nearby. Or you could book a 30 or 45 minute dog run to set some of that extra energy free! Trust me your dog will thank you for it!

Happy fall everyone and happy hiking!

I prefer black pickles to green ones :)

Ok, so let's get technical here ... I've never actually eaten a pickle before in my life as a dog. But if you asked me I'd say I love them (or him)!

It's time for me to introduce you all to the newest addition to the Centola household, Pickles the cat! Pickles was adopted by Olivia a few weeks ago from the Atlanta Humane Society and has been fitting in nicely at the casa.

At first, I was so excited to meet the new baby cat! But I was a little TOO excited so mom and Olivia kept him sequestered in Liv's room for an adjustment period. Then, mom thought - well this cat has come from the Humane Society and surrounded by tons of other animals, so she figured he could stick up for himself. Once again she was right.

Pickles is my new best friend. I have so much fun playing with him. When he is around he will play and "box" with me... and he lets me lick him! Mom says that when she comes home, she can tell that we have been playing because I have licked him so much that his hair is standing straight up! Who needs hair gel? Of course, as a little cat he can escape and take respite from me upstairs. But I love him so much and just want to play with him all the time! I've been ready for a friend and I'm thrilled to have Pickles finally in my life. Now, if we could just get Sydney girl (the other feline in the house) to lighten up it would be the perfect animal house! :)

Who else besides me is diggin' on this fall-ish weather? Woo Hoo - Finally I can breath again! I'm loving it! Peace out people.
